What you’ll do:
Develop and execute a strategic plan to build a thriving community aligned with organizational goals.
Launch and establish initial community channels (forums, social groups, etc.) with a focus on foundational growth.
Leverage analytics tools to monitor community health, engagement, and growth metrics. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as membership growth, engagement rates, and satisfaction. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to refine the community strategy.
Partner with product, marketing, and customer success teams to advocate for community insights and user needs. Coordinate on content initiatives, product updates, and events that promote engagement and support business objectives.
Establish community guidelines, policies, and best practices, ensuring compliance from members. Moderate community spaces proactively to maintain a safe, respectful environment. Address member inquiries and feedback professionally to ensure a positive experience.
Develop and implement strategies to grow membership and increase engagement. Execute retention initiatives to keep members active and satisfied. Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns to promote community growth.
Curate and create engaging content across various platforms (blogs, forums, webinars) to encourage participation. Facilitate discussions, encourage user-generated content, and create spaces for knowledge-sharing and networking. Build strong relationships with community members by understanding their needs and fostering trust.
What you’ll bring:
3+ years of experience in community management, social media, or a similar role in tech or SaaS.
Proven success in building and scaling an online community, with measurable engagement and retention outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a talent for fostering authentic connections.
Proficiency with community platforms (e.g., Discord, Slack, Facebook Groups) and social media tools.
Strong analytical skills to synthesize data and share actionable insights across teams.
A self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
Additional preferred qualifications:
Experience in the EdTech or SaaS industries.
Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing best practices.
Familiarity with event planning for both online and offline community events.
