Position Summary

Sketchy is looking for a Community Manager to join the Marketing team! This person will be instrumental in fostering an active, engaged, and supportive community for our users. The Community Manager will build and execute strategies to enhance customer engagement, manage community interactions across our platform, and be the bridge between our users and the Sketchy team. This role is key in ensuring that our community feels connected, valued, and excited about Sketchy’s offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a community engagement strategy to foster a welcoming and interactive environment for Sketchy users.

  • Maintain and drive our group revenue channel by identifying opportunities to engage and convert community members into loyal customers, meeting revenue goals.

  • Help manage and build a viable ambassador channel, recruiting and supporting ambassadors who will champion Sketchy within their networks, amplifying brand presence and driving engagement.

  • Actively manage and moderate community interactions on social media and other platforms, ensuring a positive experience for all members.

  • Create and organize community-driven events, webinars, and other interactive sessions to strengthen the Sketchy community.

  • Serve as the voice of our users within Sketchy, gathering insights and feedback to inform product, content, and customer service improvements.

  • Respond to community questions, concerns, and suggestions in a timely and professional manner, providing helpful information and guiding them to additional resources.

  • Track community engagement metrics, report on community health, and identify trends or areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to create content that resonates with our community and reflects Sketchy’s brand values.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in community management, social media management, or a related field.

  • Passion for creating engaging, inclusive communities.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and community platforms (e.g., Discord, Facebook Groups).

  • Ability to collect and analyze community metrics to make data-informed decisions.

  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for education and student success.

$75,000-$85,000
