Utopia Members Club is an exclusive, invite-only network, designed for high-level entrepreneurs and creatives seeking unique experiences and meaningful connections. Our club has gained significant acclaim for its high-impact events and tailored experiences, fostering a community of transformative leaders. We are currently seeking a Community Manager to design, manage, and elevate both digital and in-person event experiences. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with the leadership team, promising a dynamic environment with potential for career growth and the chance to craft unforgettable experiences for elite leaders.
Responsibilities
Design and Execute Events: Plan and execute unforgettable member dinners and bespoke in-person experiences across Utopia’s hub cities, developing a dynamic event calendar.
Curate Digital Programming: Lead Utopia’s virtual event series, featuring industry thought leaders and experts, ensuring a steady flow of engaging online content.
Member Experience: Provide attentive support to members by responding to inquiries, collecting feedback, and proactively enhancing the Utopia experience.
End-to-End Event Management: Oversee event logistics, including guest lists, budgeting, run of show, and post-event follow-up.
Data-Driven Improvement: Regularly analyze feedback to continually refine Utopia’s events and offerings.
Community Growth Systems: Develop systems and SOPs to support scalable, repeatable processes that meet our members' evolving needs.
Engagement and Insight: Stay active in Utopia’s communication channels, identifying opportunities for programming, community support, and surprise moments of delight.
Industry Awareness: Keep informed on community management trends, best practices, and industry news to continually improve the member experience.
Facilitating Connections: Introduce members based on shared interests, industries, and goals, helping members forge meaningful, lasting connections.
Host and Represent Utopia: Act as an ambassador at Utopia events, with occasional travel for in-person engagements.
Onboard, welcome and introduce new Utopia members to their chapter/city and community.
Qualifications
A natural connector, bringing warmth and energy that fosters trust and community.
Proven experience in community management, ideally within tech, VC, or professional membership circles.
A hospitality-first approach to community engagement, creating thoughtful and memorable interactions.
Proficiency in planning both digital and in-person events, from concept to completion.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an inclusive, engaging presence.
A self-motivated individual capable of working remotely with high accountability and independence.
A genuine passion for entrepreneurship and an understanding of the unique needs of founders and executives.
Plus: Experience in marketing, writing, or as a founder/entrepreneur. A great sense of humor is a bonus!
Additional Information
Position Details: This is a fully remote role. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
