What is the opportunity?

Community is at the core of what we do at Rocketlane. Our community of 3000+ leaders and practitioners in customer onboarding, implementations, customer success, and professional services - together seen as the post-sales team in the SaaS space, was incepted seven months before we launched the product. We have built the community brick by brick, and we are keen on continuing to invest in the growth, and engagement of all the incredible people in the community.

What does Rocketlane do?

We are on a mission to deliver chaos-free, consistent, accelerated, and delightful customer journeys through our purpose-built customer onboarding, and PSA software. Rocketlane was launched in June 2021 by a second-time entrepreneur trio - Srikrishnan, Vignesh, and Deepak, who previously built a successful in-app messaging startup that was acquired by Freshworks (NASDAQ: FRSH) in 2015.

Rocketlane became the #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt on the day we launched it. We are now building a diverse global workplace that will empower passionate problem-solvers to innovate, collaborate, do their best work, and see the next phase of hyper-growth together!

What will you be doing?

  • You will execute the community marketing and success plan. You will talk to members daily, discover the most pressing challenges in the domain, and gather solutions from leaders, experts, and practitioners.

  • You will own the execution of the current knowledge-sharing webinars: from sourcing speakers, consulting the right people on the topics, writing promotional materials, post-webinar distribution plan, etc.

  • What we expect a community success manager to do - build- add more members, nurture- help current members gain value through various initiatives

  • You’ll document community conversations in various ways- blogs, videos, short snippets, summaries, and other ways we can reach the larger audience in the space

  • You’ll help us plan Huddles- our in-person community events around the world and enable our local city chapter leads to host them

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Curiosity and empathy are two traits that will help you chart a successful path in the community space.

  • Speed of execution - We’re a lean team. We do not expect perfection - so naturally, we lean towards faster execution. We believe that perfection is a process. Our work goes through multiple iterations before we reach the quality the world recognizes us for today.

  • You enjoy writing - Most interactions in the community will happen through text. You’ll spend a good chunk of time iterating with our members on Slack, writing emails, promotional materials, and blogs!

  • You enjoy connecting with people and are comfortable talking to an audience

  • Any prior experience managing communities, engaging large audiences, or running events is a plus.
