Developer Relations Manager
About the Job
The Developer Relations Manager will play a key role in advocating for developers, creating technical content, and growing a vibrant community around Ditto’s platform. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure our developer ecosystem thrives. This is a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships with developers, gather feedback, and ensure our platform meets their needs while increasing product adoption.
Job Responsibilities
Foster Developer Community: Engage with developers across various channels, including forums, social media, and in-person or virtual events, to create a supportive and interactive environment.
Produce Technical Content: Develop blogs, tutorials, and videos that educate developers about the capabilities of our platform and demonstrate practical use cases.
Developer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the developer community, providing feedback to internal teams to help improve our platform and documentation.
Event Engagement: Attend and present at conferences, meetups, and hackathons, representing Ditto and engaging developers in meaningful discussions.
Build Developer Relationships: Work closely with influential developers and organizations to drive awareness and adoption of our solutions.
Enhance Developer Tools: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure our SDKs, APIs, and tools are aligned with the needs of developers and easy to use.
Measure & Report: Analyze community engagement and feedback metrics, offering insights to help shape future developer-focused strategies.
Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in developer relations, technical advocacy, or a related role, ideally within enterprise software or tech startups.
Strong technical proficiency, with hands-on development experience in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Proven ability to create engaging technical content, including blogs, tutorials, and video demos.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable with speaking to both large audiences and individual developers.
A passion for working closely with developers, understanding their challenges, and advocating on their behalf.
Familiarity with developer platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and database technologies (knowledge of platforms like Snowflake, MongoDB, or Databricks is a bonus).
Experience with open-source projects or working with open-source communities.
Involvement in DevOps practices or cloud-based development workflows.
Active engagement in developer communities such as GitHub, Stack Overflow, or developer forums.
