Position Overview

This is an opportunity for a driven events and administrative professional looking to accelerate their career in a fast-moving startup environment.

You'll work directly with our Events Specialist, managing a range of event logistics and support tasks. This role is your gateway to understanding how a modern events team operates at a growing media company.

We're a small team that fast-tracks talented individuals who deliver results.

This isn't a typical administrative role. We're looking for a hustler who:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with comprehensive event logistics planning

  • Research and vet event venues, catering, and production vendors

  • Support budget creation and expense tracking

  • Manage vendor communications and contracts

  • Prepare event documentation and call sheets

  • Coordinate attendee and speaker communications

  • Order and track event supplies

  • Conduct research on event technologies and best practices

  • Identify potential speakers and sponsors

  • Coordinate virtual and hybrid event technical aspects

  • Set up and analyze event feedback collection

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in event production including collateral logistics

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in project management tools

  • Excellent research and vendor management capabilities

Compensation

Salary: $1,560/month ($780 2x per month) + 13th month bonus

Fully remote

Please note: This role requires being available during regular business hours 9am-6pm CT
