Overview
We’re currently looking for a B2B Events Manager who is passionate and enthusiastic about delivering world-class events. Whether it's a webinar, roundtable or our flagship annual Summit, you get a kick out of bringing people together to learn from each.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute high-quality events, including summits and sponsored events, from conception to completion.
Oversee our podcast production schedule to ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and other project documentation.
Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audio-visual equipment.
Manage event registration and attendee communication, including pre-event and post-event surveys Provide on-site event support, including management of vendors, speakers, and attendees.
Ensure that all events comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies and guidelines.
Generate weekly and quarterly reports on event metrics and milestones.
About The Candidate
Relevant experience in event management, with a focus on planning and executing large-scale events.
Proven experience in in-person event production and running live virtual events.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of event technology and software, such as event registration and ticketing systems e.g Eventbrite, zoom, hopin etc.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, to support events as when needed.
Must be able to travel to run live in-person events in London (once a month).
Previous experience working on fintech, financial summits and events (Desirable).
Currently invests in the stock market or has an Interest in learning how to invest (Desirable).
