Edelman is looking for Junior Community Manager to join their Digital team! This person will be responsible for supporting digital and social media communications programs on behalf of Edelman clients. Â

As a Junior Community Manager, you will assist in managing corporate channels on social platforms â monitoring all community engagement and conversation within social hubs and online destinations. You will partner closely with internal and client teams, as well as bring social-first thinking to brainstorms and have a nose for real-time opportunities and social trends. As a Junior Community Manager, you will also partner closely with the account and client teams to develop, manage, and post approved social responses, proactively flag opportunities to the team, and work with strategy and analytics to provide insights and recommendations based on community insights.Â
Responsibilities:âŻ
Support community management and reactive response efforts that drives desired outcomes by responding to comments on social channels on behalf of the clientÂ
Track and monitor conversations online, identify potential trends for client implementation, and develop weekly monitoring reportsÂ
Keep the team apprised of community performance, including growth and engagement by assessing impact of social strategy on the communityÂ
Provide basic social media activity reporting support for ongoing efforts and events in collaboration with analystsÂ
Research new social media technology; understand and apply knowledge in support of overall strategyÂ
Be able to understand and assist in the development of content calendars for a variety of social platforms Â
Participate in and attend client meetings/conference callsÂ
Write social content and copy for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and ThreadsÂ
Basic Qualifications:
A bachelorâs degree in a relevant field (public relations, communications, English, journalism, advertising, business)Â or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 0-6 monthsâ internship experience in Communications and/or related fields
Understand the role that social and digital media plays in a clientâs communication mixÂ
Have a solid a sense of how social media management tools work as well as the cadence of social media platforms (i.e. Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Facebook, YouTube analytics, etc.)Â
Experience utilizing online listening tools and understand why online monitoring is important and be able to identify tools (paid and free) that can be used to identify relevant conversations and audiencesÂ
Be able to support online marketing and issues management campaignsÂ
Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelÂ
$40,000 - $52,000 a year
An employeeâs pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEHâs total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
