The Technical Community Manager will be an integral part of the Product Experience Team at RunPod, working closely with the Developer Relations Manager to build and sustain a vibrant and engaged developer community. This role focuses on community management, technical support, and feedback collection to ensure the community's voice is heard and integrated into RunPod’s platform evolution. The Product Experience Team is dedicated to delivering exceptional user experiences, and the Technical Community Manager plays a crucial role in connecting the community with the product.

The Technical Community Manager fosters a strong, engaged, and collaborative developer community around RunPod’s platform. This role includes moderating community spaces, organizing and facilitating events, and providing direct technical support to community members. Additionally, the Technical Community Manager will gather valuable developer feedback and collaborate with the Developer Relations Manager to ensure community insights are reflected in the platform’s development. The ideal candidate is passionate about developer advocacy and community building and has a solid technical background to support RunPod’s growing developer community.

As the Technical Community Manager, you will be the face of RunPod within the developer community, ensuring that members are supported, engaged, and empowered to make the most of our platform. Your work will directly influence the platform's evolution by ensuring that the community's needs and feedback are integrated into product development. Building a vibrant and engaged community will help position RunPod as a leader in the AI and cloud infrastructure space.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement Strategist

    • Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage the developer community, ensuring it remains active, vibrant, and aligned with the latest platform updates.

    • Foster relationships with key community members and influencers to amplify RunPod’s presence within the developer ecosystem.

  • Community Moderator and Facilitator

    • Moderate and manage community spaces, ensuring they are welcoming, inclusive, and aligned with RunPod’s values.

    • Organize and facilitate community events, including webinars, workshops, hackathons, and meetups, to foster engagement and collaboration.

  • Technical Support Specialist

    • Provide direct technical support to community members, helping them troubleshoot issues, optimize their use of RunPod’s platform, and implement best practices.

    • Create and maintain technical documentation and resources that assist community members in using the platform effectively.

  • Developer Feedback Liaison

    • Gather and analyze feedback from the developer community, identifying trends and insights that can inform product development.

    • Collaborate closely with the Developer Relations Lead to align community initiatives with broader product and company goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a community management or developer relations role, preferably within the tech or AI industry.

  • Strong technical background, with the ability to understand and support developer needs.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for engaging and empowering developer communities.

  • Experience in organizing and facilitating events, both virtual and in-person.

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and communicate community feedback to inform product development.

  • Successful completion of a background check

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure technologies.

  • Experience working in a remote-first organization.

  • Background in technical writing or creating educational resources for developers.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Receive:

  • The competitive base pay for this position ranges from $90,000 - $110,000. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills and experience
