Code of Conduct for Led by Community
Introduction
At Led by Community Events Hub, we are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and safe experience for everyone. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participant behaviour and the consequences of unacceptable behaviour. We invite all members, contributors, and participants to help us create safe and positive experiences for everyone.
1. Core Principles
Respect: Treat everyone with respect, kindness, and empathy.
Inclusivity: Embrace diversity and strive for accessibility and inclusiveness.
Integrity: Act professionally and responsibly, honouring our commitment to each other and the community.
2. Expected Behavior
Be Considerate: Your actions and words should reflect consideration for those around you.
Communicate Openly: Favor clear, constructive communication and avoid aggressive or demeaning language.
Support Others: Help newcomers and support those in need, fostering a collaborative environment.
Self-promotion is not allowed. Your work in the form of articles or ungated content is welcome. Lead magnets, gated content, or registration pages for events are not allowed to be shared.
3. Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behaviours include, but are not limited to:
Harassment: Any form of harassment, including offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability.
Intimidation or Threats: Intimidating, threatening, or coercing any community member.
Disruption: Disrupting events or discussions with inappropriate behaviour or language.
4. Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop such behaviour is expected to comply immediately. Violations could result in sanctions or expulsion from the community at the discretion of the community leaders.
5. Reporting Guidelines
If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behaviour or have any other concerns, please notify a community organizer as soon as possible at support@ledby.community.
6. Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all community venues, including online forums, social media, and public events where community members participate.
